Between Moth and Flame

Pete Schulte
January 10 – February 15, 2014
Between Moth and Flame is Pete Schulte’s first solo exhibition in Atlanta. Using drawing as the cornerstone of his practice, Schulte integrates sculpture, time-based, site-specific, and curatorial activities into his work in an attempt to search for and share experiences that operate in the liminal zone between presence and void, image and object, longing and loss. In this exhibition, Schulte presents a site-specific installation of a selection of painstakingly-executed works on paper, combining geometric forms and symbols with organic shapes and gradations of rich graphite and neutral tints. Between Moth and Flame will be on view from January 10th through February 14th.
